I'm a British journalist, based now in the UK but formerly in Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina. I write mainly about the western Balkans, and Bosnia in particular. As well as the general current affairs of the region, I'm especially interested in ideas of peace, reconciliation, and truth-seeking, and whether past wounds can be healed without being forgotten.
I've written for The Guardian, Balkan Insight, TravelMag, and the Balkan Investigative Reporting Network. Since 2010 I have also edited Balkan Focus, a website dedicated to news and analysis from the Balkans.
I keep a blog, called Roblog, and I'm on Twitter as @rob_miller. My flickr screen name is robmil. I also have profiles on Journalisted, The Guardian, and Balkan Insight.
You can email me at r@robm.me.uk.

So, Serbia is paying $100k/month to lobbyists in Washington. Other than wasting a shedload of money, what exactly do they think will happen?
